Analytical HR Business Partner for boutique Investment Bank
 
An excellent position for an analytical HR Advisor to make the transition to an HR Business Partner within a small team environment. 
 
Recruitment
  • Managing all aspects of recruitment, including temporary and permanent staff and administering psychometric tests (training will be provided)
  • Interviewing candidates up to AD level providing structured feedback to clients on suitability
 
Employee Relations
 
  • Assisting/ managing ER issues (i.e. performance management, disciplinary processes, redundancies and grievances) in a sensitive and timely manner
  • Provide clear advice on all aspects of employment law issues
  • Support, develop and coach management on performance management issues offering guidance with a view to informal resolution
  • Advise on occupational health issues
 
Projects
  • Assist with on-time implementation of all corporate HR initiatives
  • Review management information reporting and HR statistics.  Look into improvements and supporting software/systems
  • Hands on approach to streamlining processes, make recommendations for improvement and create process maps where necessary
  • Review the on-boarding process including making suggestions to improve the current HR system and templates
  • Set up and deliver a new ATS
 
Compensation
  • Assisting the Head of HR with the Year End compensation processes and McLagan job matching

HR Analytics
  • Seek to improve the data quality and use across client groups, using data to support key HR initiatives
  • Build HR analytics in line with business requirements
  • Ensure regular MI and analytics for relevant committees is completed in a timely manner
  • Manage ad-hoc requests for HR data and MI requirements
  • Ensure that HR data is maintained at the highest levels of integrity, creating/ maintaining headcount reports or other such reports as requested by the business
 
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualification (with the aim of gaining full accreditation by completing level 7)
  • Good degree in a relevant subject
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced Excel (to include pivot tables, vlookups)
  • Deep problem solving and analytical capability; experience of managing and analysing HR metrics to develop solutions
  • Hands on attitude, flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a prerequisite
