HR Business Partner.

Excellent oppurtunity to become part one of the largest telecoms company in the UK and supporting some of the most exciting projects within the industry.

The HR Business Partner is primarily accountable for Employee Relations, Employee Communication, Performance Management, People Management and Development, Recruitment, Wellbeing, Learning and Development. Additionally, provides support to the Collaborative Working Group, which means representing the company and working closely with the 3rd parties to look at Collaborative Working practices.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Support the recruitment of the current Programmes;
  • Deliver any company policy amendments that are specific to the Programme Organisation;
  • Support the Performance Management processes;
  • Deliver Inductions to all new starters to the Programme;
  • Responsibility for Programme Communications (surveys, newsletters, awards etc);
  • Support the wider Implementation Plan, taking ownership of HR tasks and milestones;
  • Record any HR any issues and escalate as required;
  • Manage Employee Relations, supporting managers in sensitive employee issues;
  • Capture learning and development requirements on the Training Needs Analysis;
  • Manage role changes across the Programme supporting the Programme Director;
  • Ensure compliance with any HR Audit Requirements - ISO 9001 (2015 and ISO 27001;
  • Support managers in their own personal development as leaders;
  • Support salary reviews;
  • Ensure the 7 Required Behaviours detailed in the OLA factor in all we do;
  • Support ongoing projects that impact employees;
  • Manage employee engagement surveys and provide improvement initiatives;
  • Support the Collaborative Working Group and lead all activities that result from this;
  • Ensure up to date Programme briefings are provided regularly.
  • Ad hoc Projects as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

The following skills are considered Mandatory:

  • Extensive experience in HR Manager /Business Partnering Role with at least 5 years experience working as a HR professional;
  • Experience in driving cultural transformation and/or improvements across organisations;
  • Experience of supporting managers on a range of people related matters; grievance, disciplinary, sickness, absence etc;
  • Experience in implementing HR initiatives;
  • Experience in coaching middle and senior managers on personal development;
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of employment law;
  • Commercially and financially astute;
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills to both an internal and external audience;
  • Experienced in establishing and maintaining external relationships with partners and customers;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

The following skills are considered Preferred:

  • Degree Level Qualification;
  • CIPD Qualification;
  • CIPD Member.
